Wall under construction collapses in India, killing 10
NEW DELHI: A building wall collapsed while being constructed in northern India on Friday, killing 10 workers, police said.
Seven other people were injured in the accident near Narnaul, a town in Haryana state, police officer Sandeep Sharma said.
The town is 135 kilometers (85 miles) southwest of New Delhi.
Other details were not immediately available.
Building collapses are common in India, where high demand for housing and lax regulations have encouraged some builders to cut corners, use substandard materials or add unauthorised extra floors.
