War criminal guilty

SARAJEVO: A former Bosnian Serb officer has been convicted of war crimes including forcible deportation, rape and sexual enslavement during the Bosnian war and sentenced to 22 years in prison. Friday's judgment by Bosnia's top war crimes court said 48-year-old Predrag Kujundzic was guilty of crimes against humanity and that he took part in the forceful deportation and inhuman treatment of Muslim Bosniaks as well as the sexual enslavement of a 15-year-old Bosniak girl. Kujundzic was a commander of a Bosnian Serb Army unit in the northern Bosnian town of Doboj during the war between 1992 and 1995.
