GENEVA: The World Health Organisation has estimated that between 40,000 to 50,000 people have been killed in the earthquake in Haiti, the UN said on Sunday. “WHO/PAHO (Pan American Health Organisation) estimates that the number of dead ranges between 40,000 and 50,000,” said a report issued by the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
