Two persons were killed on the spot after the motorbike they were travelling on collided head-on with a truck coming from opposite direction at Thakre along the Prithvi Highway in Dhading district, on Thursday afternoon.

According to Area Police Office, Khanikhola, 60-year-old Balram Adhikari and his 30-year-old son Suresh Adhikari, a medical doctor, died on the spot after colliding with the truck.
