KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 25

The government has yet again revised the data on total death-toll from Covid-19.

Stating that one person passed away owing to the coronavirus disease in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health and Population has increased the total number of nationwide fatalities to 2,767 on Thursday.

The government, in a similar manner, had raised the total death-toll to 2,684 on Wednesday, admitting discrepancy in the reported number of deaths and the actual number of Covid-19 patients who had succumbed to the disease.

The health ministry had added 619 more deaths to the official data on Covid-19 fatalities yesterday itself since the contagion was first reported in the country last year.

According to the health ministry, the data was updated on the basis of inputs given by those involved in the management of coronavirus infection across the country.
