Prime Minister off to Jhapa, Morang for multiple inaugurations on Tuesday

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has left for the eastern districts of Jhapa and Morang today for a couple of inauguration ceremonies.

PM Oli was received by Province 1 Chief Somnath Adhikari, Bagmati Province Chief Bishnu Prasad Prasain, Province 1 Chief Minister Sherdhan Rai and Minister for Internal Affairs and Law, Hikmat Kumar Karki at the Bhadrapur Airport in Jhapa. He will inaugurate the Purbanchal Cancer Hospital established at a cost of Rs 6 billion by Durga Prasain, Executive Director of the B&C Medical College.

He is also scheduled to inaugurate the Province Pride Village-- a shelter based in Birtamod of Jhapa. The 'village' has 37 shelters.

The PM will then attend a programme at Urlabari, Morang before returning to the capital via Biratnagar today itself.

This is Oli's second visit to his home district, Jhapa, in a week while he is slated to visit Jhapa again this Friday.
