Four schools newly reconstructed by India in Nuwakot inaugurated
The four schools Shree Kalika, Shree Pimaltar, Shree Panchalinge and Shree Saraswoti Secondary Schools have been built under reconstruction grant of Government of India.

Naveen Kumar, Head of Press, Information and Cultural wing of the Embassy of India to Nepal and Shushil Gyewali, Chief Executive Officer, National Reconstruction Authority jointly inaugurated four newly reconstructed schools in Nuwakot.
The four schools Shree Kalika, Shree Pimaltar, Shree Panchalinge and Shree Saraswoti Secondary Schools have been built under reconstruction grant of Government of India.
The event was attended by the representatives from Central Level Project Implementation Unit (Education), District Level Project Implementation Unit (Nuwakot), Kakani Rural Municipality, Dupcheshower Rural Municipality, Tarkeshower Rural Municipality, Kispang Rural Municipality and other stakeholders.
The four schools were reconstructed at a cost of NRs. 167 million according to earthquake-resilient reconstruction norms of Government of Nepal.
The newly handed over schools include classroom blocks, administrative blocks, practical blocks, separate sanitation facilities for girls and boys. The four new schools will provide better learning environment to over 1800 students studying in them.
The schools are part of 71 educational institutes across eight districts being built under Government of India grant assistance of US $ 50 million for reconstruction in the education sector.
The eight beneficiary districts are Gorkha, Nuwakot, Sindhupalchowk, Ramechhap, Dolakha, Kavrepalanchowk, Dhading and Kathmandu. By now, the construction of 8 schools is completed and construction of 62 schools is ongoing.
Speaking on the occasion, Head of Wing, Press Information and Culture emphasized that education is the best investment in the future of the country and its people.
Since 2003, Government of India has built hundreds of educational campuses, complementing the efforts of Government of Nepal in this area.
