President, Prime Minister extend condolences on Prince Philip's passing

KATHMANDU, APRIL 10

President Bidya Devi Bhandari has sent a message of condolence to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom on the passing of her spouse, His Royal Highness Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh.

President Bhandari stated that Nepal has lost a longstanding friend with the demise of Prince Philip.

Likewise, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, in a message to his British counterpart Boris Johnson, has extended condolences on the demise of the Duke of Edinburgh.

Prime Minister Oli has stated that the contributions of Prince Philip to the cause of humanity will be remembered by the future generations.
