Nepal COVID-19 Update: 580 new cases, 129 recoveries and three fatalities recorded on Wednesday

The government has decided to continue the inoculation with China-made Covid-19 vaccine 'Vero Cell' till April 18.

Nepal's Health Ministry shared the latest updates on coronavirus contagion from across the country.

Till date, 2,325,959 tests through Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method have been carried out wherein 4,289 PCR tests were performed in the last 24 hours.

At present, there are 79 people under quarantine in various facilities across the country. The number of active cases in Nepal is 4,056.

580 new cases of the coronavirus infection were registered today taking the national tally to 281,564.

As many as 129 persons earlier diagnosed with the disease have tested negative in the last 24 hours. With the recent addition, the national COVID-19 recovery tally has now reached 274,447.

Meanwhile, three fatalities were confirmed by the Ministry today, with which the country's COVID-19 death toll has reached to 3,061.

As of today, the country has witnessed 281,564 cases of the coronavirus infection while 274,447 people have recovered from the disease. Meanwhile, 3,061 COVID-19 fatalities have been confirmed.
