KATHMANDU, APRIL 20

Children under five years of age are being administered Vitamin 'A' and deworming tablets across the country today as well.

Chief of Nutrition Section of Family Welfare Division at the Department of Health Services, Kedar Parajuli, said that the children -- from six months up to five years -- who missed getting the vitamin dose on Monday, would receive the same today.

Women health volunteers have been mobilised at all the wards of the 753 local units in the country for the administration of Vitamin 'A'.

Likewise, deworming tablets would also be given to the children along with Vitamin 'A' as part of the National Vitamin 'A' Campaign.
