Coronavirus kills seven in Province 1

Seven people died due to COV- ID-19 in Province 1 in the past 24 hours. Two people each died in Morang and Saptari, and one each in Sunsari, Jhapa, and Ilam.

Four people died while undergoing treatment at Nobel Medical College, Biratnagar, one died in home isolation in Morang's Belbari.

One person died at the COV- ID Hospital of BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, and one died in Birtamode-based B and C Hospital, Jhapa.

Similarly, 611 people tested positive for COVID-19 in the province today.

Morang district recorded 266 COVID cases, and Jhapa registered 166 new cases. As many as 127, 11 and four people were infected with COVID-19 in Sunsari, Udayapur and Ilam, respectively today.

A total of 1,316 people were tested for the virus in the province today. Of them, 611 tested positive for the contagion. Among the total infected persons, 255 are females and 356 are males.
