DHARAN, MAY 10

The Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Science (BPKIHS) reported three Covid-19 related fatalities on Monday morning.

According to BPKIHS, three Covid-19 infected persons -- a 58-year-old male of Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City-2 in Sunsari district, a 56-year-old male of Biratnagar-8 in Morang, and a 62-year-old male of Birtamod-5 in Jhapa – that were undergoing treatment at the hospital died on Sunday night.

Preparations are underway for their last rites, in accordance with the Covid-19 body management protocol, the hospital informed.

With this, the number of Covid-19 related fatalities in the hospital has reached 21 with the advent of a new wave of coronavirus.
