PM Floor Test: Voting process begins

Voting process on the confidence-motion, in which Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is seeking trust of majority of House of Representatives' lawmakers, has begun.
Before the voting process began, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had presented a list of achievements afore the HoR.
'This government has achieved so much, made never before accomplishments. There is no need to mistrust the government and vote against it,' PM Oli said while he listed the achievements of the government under his leadership.
He also defended his government's name against the recent reports of its involvement in the commission scam in the vaccine procurement case.
President of the main opposition party Nepali Congress, Sher Bahadur Deuba, Chairperson of Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Centre) Pushpa Kamal Dahal spoke against the favour of vote of confidence motion before the house, following which the voting started.
Deuba also demanded that the process of formation of a new government under Article 76 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal should move ahead. As per the Article and the sub-article, two or more parties can move in the direction of forming a majority government.
Leaders of Janata Samajbadi Party - Nepal, Mahantha Thakur and Upendra Yadav, too took to the dais to share the reasons behind their stand on the motion. Mahanta Thakur said that his party will stay neutral in regards to the voting process as they were abandoned by the government midway while addressing some demands forwarded by the party earlier.'
JSP leader Upendra Yadav even went on to ask Oli how he could seek a vote of confidence from the very parliament that he himself dissolved a while ago.
Meanwhile, parliamentarians belonging to the Madhav Kumar Nepal group gave today's attendance a miss.
Earlier this morning, PM Oli had made a last-minute 'unity appeal' on his social media, urging his party members to stand together, vote in his favour and not make any improper decision in haste.
