Sano Paila, a non-profit making organisation, has begun a free food campaign in Birgunj Metropolitan City for people testing positive for Covid-19 and in home isolation.

'Naivedya' the free food campaign focuses on providing a balanced diet to Covid patients.

A nutritious diet is a must to cope with Covid-19, states the organisation. 'To ensure the consumption of a nutritious and balanced diet for patients of Covid-19, we have started 'Naivedya' campaign.'

It added that patients in home isolation can directly Call/WhatsApp/Viber in their hotline number, following which they shall deliver fresh, nutritious, and healthy food at the patients' doorsteps for free.

However, to avail of the free food service, the patients must furnish their Covid-19 positive test report.

Sano Paila is a development oriented, non-profit making, community-based organisation that was established with help from the community in 2006. It is based in Birgunj, Parsa district in Province 2.
