Fire guts property worth one million in Rautahat's Durgabhagawati RM

RAUTAHAT, MAY 15

A fire that broke out in the settlement area of Durgabhagawati Rural Municipality-3 in the district has engulfed property worth one million this afternoon.

In the fire that ravaged Matsari area of the rural municipality, three houses were completely burnt down while one house remains partially damaged.

Following the fire, efforts were made by the locals, Armed Police Force (APF), and Nepal Police along with the help of fire truck that arrived from district headquarters Gaur to successfully contain the fire, stated the ward chair.

The fire, which resulted in no human casualty but damaged property worth one million as per the ward chair's claim, sparked at about 2:30 pm from one of the houses that was completely engulfed in the fire.
