Covid-19 lockdown further relaxed in Rautahat, public vehicles to ply on odd-even basis

RAUTAHAT, JULY 21
The District COVID-19 Crisis Management Committee has decided to extend the ongoing COVID-19 lockdown in Rautahat by a week, till June 28.
A meeting of the committee held today under the chairmanship of Chief District Official (CDO) Indradev Yadav, who is also the coordinator of the committee, decided the aforementioned.
Issuing a press release for the same, district authorities' stated that public and private employees would have to work on allotted schedules to minimise gatherings.
Meanwhile, operation of educational institutions, cinema halls, gymnasiums, parlors, salons, shopping malls, seminar halls, among others have been barred.
While the Indo-Nepal border will remain shut, private vehicles have been allowed mobility. However, public vehicle will ply on alternate days corresponding to the odd-even basis.
Meanwhile, Nepal's coronavirus caseload reached 622,640 on Monday with 1,584 more people testing positive for the infection in the past 24 hours as fresh cases of the infection are declining.
