35 injured in Dhading truck accident; 15 critically injured ferried to Kathmandu

Thirty-five persons sustained injuries after the truck they were travelling on collided with a tipper in Dhading Besi on Monday.
According to police, the incident occurred when the truck (Ba 3 Kha 5623) en route from Khari of Jawalamukhi Rural Municipality-5 to district headquarters Dhading Besi, lost control and collided with a parked tipper in Bagaichha near Dhading Besi.
Among the injured, 15 are reported to be in critical condition and have been sent to Kathmandu-based health facilities after primary treatment at District Hospital, Dhading.
'Four injured were airlifted in a helicopter while 11 were taken to the capital in ambulances,' informed Superintendent of Police (SP) Mahendra Khadka.
Other injured who sustained minor injuries are undergoing treatment in Dhading District Hospital, said Bikram BK, information officer at the hospital.
