KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 3

CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said that his party has the responsibility of accomplishing the task of building a prosperous Nepal.

Addressing the closing session of the party's first statute convention today, Chairman Oli said that his party would again emerge victorious in the upcoming election to shoulder the responsibility of seeing through the task of building a prosperous Nepal.

On the occasion, Oli said that UML would have no excuse to point fingers at others if the country could not prosper.

He reiterated that it was the UML's responsibility to usher in prosperity in the country. Oli also directed party leaders and cadres to take initiatives to bring former UML cadres into the party though they had abandoned the UML in a state of confusion.

He stated that the UML was always committed to making a socialism-oriented nation by revising and developing people's multiparty democracy as a national capital.
