SARLAHI, OCTOBER 26

CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal today said the CPN- UML led by KP Sharma Oli was on the wane.

Nepal held that Oli's arrogance and totalitarianism had eclipsed the sun and they had revolted from the UML to defend federal republicanism and the constitution.

Talking to the mediapersons at Hariwan, Sarlahi, Nepal argued that they had saved the parliamentary system and federal democratic republic from Oli's totalitarianism.

Noting that the constitution had given no prerogative to the prime minister to dissolve the House of Representatives, Nepal held that no prime minister could dissolve the House prematurely at his whim. 'We formed the five-party alliance to give a way-out from Oli's arrogance and autocratic mindset', he stated.

Nepal commented that Oli's name was registered as the most talkative prime minister in the Guinness Book of the World Record, Nepal stated. He accused Oli of weakening the country through guff and hollow talk.

Nepal said that his party was the largest in Sudurpaschim, it was larger than Oli's party in Province 2 and was set to lead the government in Province 1 and Bagmati.

Nepal pledged that his party would work to meet the needs and expectations of people and the country.
