The government, in a bid to inoculate all the people in urban areas such as Kathmandu valley, has started the programme.
The vaccination programme will be conducted from 7:30am till 4:00pm until tomorrow.
The Department of Health Services has said more and more people were inoculated back in the villages through the ward offices. The inoculation programme is targeted at people who missed vaccination in their villages.
Today, hundreds of people were seen waiting in a line for their turn to receive the COVID-19 vaccine at these centres.
They will receive any one of Verocell or Astra Zeneca vaccine at the vaccination camps. All those who want the vaccination are required to provide valid identity cards showing their age.
The government has aimed to vaccinate the entire population.
