Simply put, life is a small gap between birth and death, and we perform plenty of activities and responsibilities, struggle, love and care within that period. I strive to understand life and see how I can leave behind a productive footprint on this beautiful earth. However, there are no simple answers to explain what life is exactly.

The world is developing fast, and people live a hectic lifestyle.

They have the office to reach on time, meet their loved ones, face job insecurity, and have plenty of things to think about.

We also face many hurdles in life, forget our family values and somehow get immersed in our busy schedule.

Sometimes I feel lost in this busy world, working and living with the community people in the remote parts of Nepal. I am happy living with nature, watching the birds, and clicking photos of butterflies and insects while doing my job.

To be honest, my job is rewarding as it provides me great satisfaction, and it pays for my family expenses, too. On the other hand, for a section of society, happiness and success means moving abroad, earning handsome salaries and buying assets.

But there are many energetic youths who are successful entrepreneurs and hold highly professional jobs in the country.

Obviously, a youth with a great business personality in Nepal, living with the family and society is a life worth living.

But in reality, very few people grasp this opportunity.

With the passage of time, I believe the best luxury we can afford in this hectic world is to be with nature.

However, many people don't buy it as they are strongly brainwashed by what constitutes luxury standards. People think that partying, attending clubs, buying assets matter more than breathing the fresh air, enjoying nature's purity and living a spiritual and simple life.

Time spent with nature is time never wasted.

Today's youths face a lot of social pressure. A well-educated youth with a promising career in Nepal is compared in terms of the salary he/she earns with the peers who live abroad.

However, the time spent with the family and working for social well-being is what gives life its worth.

All things considered, a good life is surrounded by happiness and contentment. A poor person could rate himself highly if he has a positive mindset and thoughts, but all depends on a person`s interpretation of life.

One needs to enjoy the experiences of travelling places, learning new skills, studying instead of sitting at home, watching TV and using the social media, which is the modern way of killing time. At the end, all that matters is that you have lived a life the way you wanted it to be.
