Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi to visit Nepal on March 25

KATHMANDU, MARCH 21

Chinese State Councilor and Minister for Foreign Affairs Wang Yi is paying an official visit to Nepal from March 25 at the invitation of Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Narayan Khadka.

Issuing a press statement here today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) shared about the three-day visit of the Chinese Foreign Minister. Chinese Minister Wang is scheduled to pay courtesy calls on President Bidya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.

Furthermore, the statement said that he will also meet with former Prime Minister and CPN (UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli and former Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda'.

The Chinese Foreign Minister is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with his Nepali counterpart Dr Khadka, leading their respective delegations on March 26.

State Councilor Wang Yi will return home on March 27, informed the MoFA.
