Marijuana seized

HETAUDA, MARCH 28

Police arrested five people with around 266 kg marijuana from different places of Makawanpur on Monday.

Acting on a tip-off, a police team held the smugglers in Lothar Khola early this morning while they were patrolling. The arrested have been identified as Man Bahadur Chepang, 30, Santa Bahadur Chepang, 39, of Rorang Rural Municipality, Dhading, and Buddhi Bahadur Thing, 53, of Manahari Rural Municipality, Makawanpur, and Sancha Bahadur Thing, 55, of Rapti Municipality, Makawanpur.

Similarly, a police team jointly deployed from District Police Office, Makawanpur, and Police Post Chaukitole of Makawanpur held Arbind Nepali, 28, of Hetauda sub-metropolis with 165 kg marijuana during security checking along Tribhuvan Rajpath.
