RAMECHHAP, APRIL 4
Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal Chair Kamal Thapa today said that his party would forge electoral alliance with CPN-UML in the local polls slated for May 13.
Speaking at a programme organised by his party in Ramechhap, Thapa informed that his party had started dialogue with the CPN-UML on forming the electoral alliance.
'RPP-Nepal will forge electoral alliance on the basis of local need in some places,' Thapa added.
Thapa reiterated that his party had abandoned the agenda of monarchy due to non-cooperation from former king Gyanendra Shah.
He claimed that monarchy had committed a mistake by interfering in the internal affairs of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party.
He accused the monarchy of not cooperating with him though he had advocated monarchy for years.
On a different note, Thapa argued that Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba had just conveyed his complaints to the Indian side during his three-day state visit to India.
'Prime Minister's visit failed miserably,' Thapa stated.
