CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli today claimed that only his party could usher in prosperity and happiness in the country.

Addressing a gathering in Birgunj, Oli stressed the need of the UML's government for swift development and prosperity of the country. 'The country will have prosperity only after formation of a UML-led government. Equal development of the Madhes, hill and mountain is a must for the country's prosperity,' Oli stated.

Oli accused some selfish forces of projecting him as anti-Madhesi.

'I grew up riding on the buffalo for sixty years. I know how to dig a well and graze buffaloes.

But, some people are framing me as anti-Madhesi,' Oli complained. Oli stressed the need to develop Birgunj as a model city with ring road and other infrastructure. He said no other party except UML could envision and execute the agendas of developments.

Oli claimed that only his party could tap the immense water resources and generate enough electricity for domestic use and export.
