HETAUDA, APRIL 24

CPN-UML has fixed its candidates for mayor and deputy mayor in all 10 local levels of Makawanpur.

Of them, nine candidates are old faces, while others are new ones contesting the upcoming local level elections.

The party has decided to offer ticket to Ananta Prasad Poudel as candidate for mayor in Hetauda sub-metropolis, Sumitra Kafle for deputy mayor, Achut Dhakal for mayor in Thaha Municipality, Kalpana Balami for deputy mayor, Khem Raj Jargamagar for chairman of Nagmati Rural Municipality while Dhan Maya Syantan will contest for vice-chairman.

Similarly, Sarala Bolakhe will contest for chair in Bakaiya Rural Municipality; Lal Bahadur Syantan will fight for vice-chairman.

Likewise, Bidur Humagai and Santu Thing will be candidates for chairman and vice-chairman of Makawanpurgadhi Rural Municipality.

The party has decided to offer ticket to Hidam Lama and Parbati Rana as candidates for chairman and vice-chair respectively in Bhimphedi Rural Municipality, Dev Krishna Pudasaini for chairman and Uma Lama for vice-chair in Indrasarobar Rural Municipality, Narendra Lal Rijal and Sukumaya Thing for chairman and vice-chair in Kailash Rural Municipality, Babulal Syantan and Suntali Maya Thing for chairman and vice-chair in Raksirang Rural Municipality respectively, and Ekraj Upreti and Sujita Thing will contest for chairman and vicechair in Manahari Rural Municipality.
