KATHMANDU, MAY 8

Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has said the officials can make immediate strategy for the resolution of problems in case of any untoward incidents if right and factual information are shared on time.

After an inspection visit to the National Investigation Department today, Minister Khand said the Department should be technologically sound and efficient to share timely information with the government.

He was of the view that the government could prepare strategies to counter different issues if information along with the impact analyses of political, social, economic and cultural happenings in the country were shared on time.

'New information on the use of natural means and resources, political, social, economic, criminal and technology in the world and their impacts should be shared with the government,'

Minister Khand added.

Minister Khand argued that the state's information system would deteriorate if the Department remained weak, leading to mal-functioning of the entire state mechanism.
