Nepal records two COVID-19 cases on Saturday

The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal active caseload has reached to 150 on Saturday as two people tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.
The latest reported number of infections carried the nationwide tally to 978,991 while the death toll remains at 11,952 as no fatalities were recorded today.
Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 966,889 with 16 discharges logged today.
As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 1,254 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 1,127 were PCR tests while 127 were antigen tests. With this, a total of 5,667,049 PCR tests have been carried out till date.
Similarly, antigen tests confirmed no positive cases in the past 24 hours.
Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.8%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.
Currently, there are three individuals in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.
