IPO alert: Dordi Khola Jal Bidhyut Company Limited to issue 21,95,509 unit shares from June 9

KATHMANDU, MAY 31

Dordi Khola Jal Bidhyut Company Limited (DORDI) is all set to issue Initial Public Offering (IPO) for subscription by the genral public from June 9, 2022 (i.e., Jestha 26, 2079).

The hydropower company will issue 21,95,509 unit shares worth Rs 219. 5 millions. The price of unit share has been fixed at Rs 100.

The early closing date of the issuance has been scheduled for June 14, 2022 (i.e., 31st Jestha, 2079). However, given that the IPO is not fully subscribed, the closing date can be extended upto June 23, 2022 (i.e., Ashadh 09, 2079).

Among the 21,95,509 units; 3 per cent i.e. 65,865 units have been designated for the employees of the company. Similarly, 5 per cent of the total offered shares i.e. 1,09,775 units have been allotted for the mutual funds.

The remaining 20,19,869 unit shares will be open for the general public to apply.

The paid up capital of the company is expected to amount to Rs. 1.05 billion following the IPO issuance.

Siddhartha Capital Limited has been appointed as the issue manager for the IPO issuance.

It has been learnt that applications can be placed for a minimum of 10 units and a maximum of 17,00,000 units.
