Five lakh to MBBS students

Rising Rural Municipality executive meeting has decided to offer Rs five lakh to those students who have been selected for MBBS studies from the rural municipality in Tanahun.

Chairman Rajendra of the rural municipality Krishna Shrestha said the decision was taken to encourage students and to produce the manpower to bolster heath services at the local level. He said that he was hopeful the decision would be implemented.

The municipality has also decided to offer Rs 10,000 to 510 people who have been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic.
