CPN-US to reshuffle its incumbent ministers in coalition government

Former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal-led CPN (United Socialist) party has decided to reshuffle incumbent ministers from their party in the ruling coalition govenment.
It has been learnt that chaiperson of CPN (United Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal along with a list of new ministers visited Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba at his residence in Baluwatar, this afternoon.
According to sources, Nepal has recommended the names of Hirachandra KC, Metmani Chaudhary, Jeevanram Shrestha and Sher Bahadur Kunwar to be appointed as new ministers.
According to the new recommendations made by Madhav Nepal Bhawani Khapung will be made Minister of Health and Population; Jeevanram Shrestha will be handed the portfolio of Tourism and Civil Aviation. Meanwhile, Metmani Chaudhary and Sher Bahadur Kunwar will be made Minister for Urban Development and Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security, respectively.
Earlier, the secretariat meeting of Madhav Nepal led CPN (Unified Socialist) had concluded to recall incumbent ministers, who had completed a six-month tenure.
The coaliation government under the Prime Ministership of Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba had appointed Birodh Khatiwada, Ram Kumari Jhakri, Prem Bahadur Ale and Krishna Kumar Shrestha as cabinet ministers. Meanwhile, Bhawani Khapung was given state ministry portfolio.
