RAUTAHAT, JUNE 17

CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal today urged the people's representatives to serve people with sincerity and humility.

Speaking at a programme organised to felicitate newly-elected people's representatives at Rautahat's Gaur, Nepal asked the representatives to give up arrogance and work for the people with humility and honesty. He asked them to respect people's votes and work for their welfare. Nepal directed to the representatives who won the election from the CPN (US) to work in such a way the party will emerge as the potent force in the next general polls.

Nepal stressed the need to strengthen the five-party alliance. He asked Congress and CPN-Maoists to learn lessons from the recently-held local polls. He reminded NC and Maoists not to undermine CPN (US). He reiterated that going to the polls with alliance would be appropriate for the ruling parties. Nepal made it clear that his party would go to the polls alone if other parties opted for not forging the electoral alliance.
