DAMAULI, JUNE 19

Incessant rainfall and subsequent landslide that occurred on Sunday morning has led to an obstruction of Dumre-Besishahar road section, in the area of Walifant, Bhanu Municipality-8, Tanahun.

According to Area Police Office Bhanu, vehicular movement around Dumre of Tanahun and Lamjung has been affected due to damaged roads in the section.

The incessant rainfall carried away hume pipe and hence the movement was obstructed, Police Inspector Ramesh Bista shared.

Technical assistance from Lamjung is arriving at the incident site to repair the damaged road, he added.

As a temporary solution, at least two hume pipes are being placed in the area and preparations have started to fill the big road gap which was formed due to the rain and landslide.
