Nepal records 28 COVID-19 cases on Monday

The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal active caseload has reached to 120 on Monday as 20 people tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.
The latest reported number of infections carried the nationwide tally to 979,382 while the death toll remains at 11,952 as no fatalities were recorded today.
Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 967,310 with 10 discharges logged today.
As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 3,914 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 1,862 were PCR tests while 2,052 were antigen tests. With this, a total of 5,742,963 PCR tests have been carried out till date.
Similarly, antigen tests confirmed eight positive cases in the past 24 hours.
Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.8%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.
Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
