DOLAKHA, JULY 2

A person died while chasing a monkey in Sailung Rural Municipality, Dolakha, on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Ram Bahadur Karki, 56, of the rural municipality.

Karki might have got heart attack while he was chasing the monkey on Friday, said police. Karki was airlifted to Kathmandu-based Neuro Hospital after he suffered a heart attack on Friday afternoon. Doctors pronounced him death on arrival.

Monkeys have terrorised locals for some days now. The locals complained to the local representatives after monkeys destroyed crops and attacked people.
