Nepal records 98 COVID-19 cases on Friday

Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.7%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.

The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal active caseload has reached to 564 on Thursday as 83 people tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.

The latest reported number of infections carried the nationwide tally to 980,141 while the death toll remains at 11,952 as no fatalities were recorded today.

Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 967,625 with 23 discharges logged today.

As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 2,154 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 1,061 were PCR tests while 1,093 were antigen tests. With this, a total of 5,769,713 PCR tests have been carried out till date.

Similarly, antigen tests confirmed 15 positive cases in the past 24 hours.

Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
