KATHMANDU, JULY 12

The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal active caseload has reached to 873 on Tuesday as 144 people tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.

The latest reported number of infections carried the nationwide tally to 980,590 while the death toll remains at 11,952 as no fatalities were recorded today.

Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 967,765 with 41 discharges logged today.

As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 3,126 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 1,805 were PCR tests while 1,321 were antigen tests. With this, a total of 5,776,591 PCR tests have been carried out till date.

Similarly, antigen tests confirmed 33 positive cases in the past 24 hours.

Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.7%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.

Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
