Nepal records 263 COVID-19 cases on Saturday

Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.

KATHMANDU, AUGUST 13

The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal has reached to 5,434 on Saturday as 162 people tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.

The latest reported number of infections carried the nationwide tally to 992,727 while the death toll remains at 11,986 as two fatalities were recorded today.

Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 992,727 with 501 discharges logged today.

As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 3,165 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 1,399 were PCR tests while 1,766 were antigen tests. With this, a total of 5,851,165 PCR tests have been carried out till date.

Similarly, antigen tests confirmed 101 positive cases in the past 24 hours.

Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.2%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.

Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
