KATHMANDU, AUGUST 21

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba today paid tributes to party leader and lawmaker Pradeep Giri who passed away at the age of 74 while undergoing treatment at Mediciti Hospital in Lalitpur at 9:30 pm on Saturday.

Draping a party flag on the mortal remain of Giri who was well known as a socialist thinker in the Nepali politics, the NC President paid his respects and tributes to the late leader.

Similarly, party senior leader Ramchandra Poudel, vice presidents Purna Bahadur Khadka and Dhanraj Gurung, general secretary Gagan Thapa among others offered their reverences.

Party leaders, cadres and well-wishers have gathered in large numbers at the party office to offer their last respects to the late leader.
