Nepal records 202 COVID-19 cases on Sunday

The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal active caseload has reached to 3,833 on Sunday as 164 people tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.
The latest reported number of infections carried the nationwide tally to 996,834 while the death toll remains at 12,000 as one fatality was recorded today.
Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 981,521 with 462 discharges logged today.
As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 3,833 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 2,064 were PCR tests while 1,769 were antigen tests.
With this, a total of 5,884,735 PCR tests have been carried out till date.
Similarly, antigen tests confirmed 38 positive cases in the past 24 hours. Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.5%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.
Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
