Nepal records 104 COVID-19 cases on Sunday

KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 11
The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal active caseload has reached to 2,316 on Sunday as 89 people tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.
The latest reported number of infections carried the nationwide tally to 998,743 while the death toll remains at 12,014 as two fatalities were recorded today.
Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 984,413 with 201 discharges logged today.
As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 3,587 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 1,592 were PCR tests while 1,995 were antigen tests.
With this, a total of 5,908,369 PCR tests have been carried out till date.
Similarly, antigen tests confirmed 15 positive cases in the past 24 hours. Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.6%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.
Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
