Nepal records 110 COVID-19 cases on Friday

KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 16

The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal active caseload has reached to 3,827 on Friday as 60 people tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.

The latest reported number of infections carried the nationwide tally to 999,181 while the death toll remains at 12,016 as no fatality was recorded today.

Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 985,103 with 126 discharges logged today.

As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 3,827 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 1,752 were PCR tests while 2,075 were antigen tests.

With this, a total of 5,917,650 PCR tests have been carried out till date.

Similarly, antigen tests confirmed 50 positive cases in the past 24 hours. Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.6%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.

Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
