Nepal records 91 COVID-19 cases on Monday

KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 19

The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal active caseload has reached to 1,740 on Monday as 91 people tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.

The latest reported number of infections carried the nationwide tally to 999,316 while the death toll remains at 12,016 as no fatality was recorded today.

Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 985,560 with 165 discharges logged today.

As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 3,924 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 2,488 were PCR tests while 1,436 were antigen tests.

With this, a total of 5,923,465 PCR tests have been carried out till date.

Similarly, antigen tests confirmed 16 positive cases in the past 24 hours. Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.6%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.

Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
