'Follow election code'

​​​​​​​District Election Office, Tanahun, organised an interaction and urged the political parties to follow the election code of conduct in Damauli on Thursday.

DAMAULI, OCTOBER 20

District Election Office, Tanahun, organised an interaction and urged the political parties to follow the election code of conduct in Damauli today.

Keeping in mind the November 20 election, the parties were requested to follow the election code fully. At the interaction, Chief Election Officer Dal Bahadur KC requested all the participating political parties for the same.

Chief at District Election Office Hari Prasad Dhakal briefed about the election code to the candidates, government bodies, and mediapersons, among others. He informed that the parties could advertise 17 days before the election, not more than 25 people could gather for publicity, no musical instrument could be used for publicity, and candidates could not spend more amount than the fixed amount, among others.

Chief District Officer Bishwo Prasad Aryal, among other officials urged everyone to play a significant role to complete the election in a free, fair, and fearless manner.
