Nepal records nine COVID-19 cases on Monday

KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 14
The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal active caseload has reached to 499 on Monday day as nine people tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.
The latest reported number of infections carried the nationwide tally to 1,000,814 while the death toll remains at 12,019 as no fatality was recorded today.
Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 988,296 with 23 discharges logged today.
As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 1,425 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 672 were PCR tests while 753 were antigen tests.
With this, a total of 5,968,474 PCR tests have been carried out till date.
Similarly, antigen tests confirmed four positive cases in the past 24 hours. Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.7%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.
Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
