KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 21

The process of counting the number of votes cast for Federal and Provincial Assembly elections has begun.

Several counting centres have been designated for separately recording the votes for different constituencies.

Officials from the Election Commission, representatives of parties and media persons are present at these centres amid heavy security.

At the moment, recording of votes for constituencies 1, 3, 4, 6, 7 of Kathmandu, all constituencies of Lalitpur and Bhaktapur have begun.

Likewise, counting has also begun in Kaski, Jhapa, Mustang, Saptari, Banke, Rupandehi and Nawalparasi west.
