Nepal records eight COVID-19 cases on Monday

KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 28
The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal active caseload has reached 235, on Monday as eight persons tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.
The nationwide COVID-19 infection tally remains at 1,000,884 while the death toll remains at 12,019 as no fatality was recorded today.
Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 988,630 with 34 discharges logged today.
As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 1,652 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 615 were PCR tests while 1,037 were antigen tests.
With this, a total of 5,977,076 PCR tests have been carried out till date.
Similarly, antigen tests confirmed one positive case in the past 24 hours. Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.8%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.
Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
