KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 3

Vice-president of Nepali Congress Purna Bahadur Khadka on Saturday met CPN (Unified Socialist) Chair Madhav Kumar Nepal and discussed government formation and other issues.

Khadka told THT that Nepal was in favour of keeping the current alliance intact. 'In fact, his party had already decided to keep the current coalition intact,'Khadka said, and added that they also decided to expand the alliance by roping in new parties.

He said alliance partners would formally discuss government formation after the Election Commission submitted the poll results.
