HETAUDA, DECEMBER 4

A dispute has come to the surface at Rastriya Swatantra Party Makawanpur District Committee.

The party's rank and file have written to the party's central committee demanding action against Makawanpur District President Raj Kumar Neupane. They have warned that they will part t ways from the party if no action is taken against Neupane leading to his punishment.

Four leaders and cadres including two candidates Takaraj Thap and Bharat Parajuli from Makawanpur 1 and 2 announced they would quit the party if action was not taken against Neupane.

District President Neupane, however, commented that some party members were trying to defame him with fake signatures.

Around four dozen party leaders and activists have sent an application to the party central office seeking action against Neupane. The application states that the party's district president had played a role that caused reduction in party's votes during the November 20 polls.
