LALITPUR: Nepal Don Bosco School, Maya Universe Academy and St Xavier's Jawalakhel recorded victories in the 25th Fr Moran Memorial Primary School Invitational Football Tournament here at the SXG grounds on Wednesday.

Nepal Don Bosco outplayed Pushpanjali Secondary School 5-0. Ayush Tamang netted a brace, while Rupson Nepal, Rojak Maharjan and Aayush Sodari scored one each for the winning team. Suresh Tamang of Nepal Don Bosco was named the player of the match.

In another match, defending champions Maya Universe defeated Vidhya Sanskar School 2-0. Player-ofthe-match Ebash BK scored twice for Maya Universe.

Also, SXJ hammered William Public School 5-0. Player-of-the-match Austin Khanal scored two, while Sangit Tamang, Aayam Lamsal and Pradyot Pokhrel netted one each for SXJ.

A total of 16 teams are taking part in the tournament organised by St Xavier's Godavari School.
